Text Box: Loyola Hospital & Edward Hines, Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital and the SCCTSD are collaborating jointly on research projects funded by one or more of the agencies of the US Department of Health and Human Services. In addition, the SCCTSD and the Naval Institute for Dental and Biomedical Research of Great Lakes, Illinois have collaborated in a research project defining rapid salivary immunoassays for the detection of pulmonary tuberculosis working in the field.
